Clothing Matters!

White clothing looks great on everyone against the gorgeous white sand of Florida’s Gulf Coast Beaches!

The choice is yours:

Classic color combinations include:
*All white
*White and khaki
*White tops with blue jeans.

Or be original and choose a variety of colors. Shades of
blue, turquoise, and coral are especially beautiful, as they complement the colors of the water and the sunset.

For comfort, choose tops with sleeves tops and bottoms that allow enough movement to sit comfortably on the sand if needed.

Please take extra care to protect your skin from sunburn in the days leading up to your session. Avoid body lotion as it causes the powdery Florida sand to stick to your skin.

Glasses

We’ll create portraits both with and without glasses.

Hair

Don’t worry, when the Gulf breezes blow, everyone’s hair looks fabulous!

Just kidding!
We may need to tame a few flyaway with some bobby pins and a little Photoshop technique.

Hair spray is your friend!

Throughout the session, take a quick look to make sure hair isn’t covering your face and your children’s faces.

Retouching:

Retouching is included on Wall Portraits, Prints and Canvas Gallery Wraps. This may include taming flyaway hair, softening lines and blemishes, cleaning up the sand, and, when possible, removing people and clutter from the background.

A Final Peace of Advice:

Even if some family members are a little hesitant to join, they usually end up having a great time.
